Apple Mac Pro tower ( early 2009 ) 4,1 (OSX El Capitan)

  1. Single processor Intel Xeon 2.66ghz.
  2. A single quad-core cpu tray.
  3. Model A1289.
  4. EMC 2314.
  5. Memory 1066mhz DDR3 – ECC.
  6. A Navidia GeForce GT 120 with 512MB ram.
  7. A sata 750gb HDD.

This machine is very well made and so much upgrades you can do its amazing what you could end up with if you got the time and money so here’s the upgrade i did.

I flashed the 4,1 firmware taking it to 5,1 (High Sierra) 2010.

  1. A twin processor Intel Xeon 2.66ghz.
  2. A twin 8 Core cpu tray.
  3. Model A1289.
  4. EMC 2314.
  5. Memory 1066mhz DDR3 – ECC.
  6. Two ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1gb ram.
  7. A sata 750gb HDD.
  8. 1tb sata HDD.
  9. 2tb sata HDD.

Awesome experience upgrading so easy to complete that’s why i would choose an Apple/ Mac over anything else.

With a bit of time & money finding the right parts to upgrade was worth it.
